David C. Leonard (b.1962 Wilmington, DE) grew up in the Central New York village of W. Eaton and received a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1985. He has also studied at the Banff Centre for the Fine Arts in Banff, Alberta, Canada. He currently resides in Austin, TX.
